5-Day AP Onboarding Flow

Use this as the standard sequence for new AP officers or refresher training.

Day 1

AP Culture & Professional Basics

Open and Honest, shrink/security/safety culture, confidentiality, uniform expectations, professionalism, documentation basics.

Day 2

Front Desk Operations

Visitor validation, badge controls, phone/radio/email expectations, electronics logging, keys, non-product removal, screening.

Day 3

Gate House Operations

Driver greeting, yard access rules, inbound trailer verification, BOL, appointment/schedule ID, stamps, VDL, gate passes, seal issues.

Day 4

Yard / Alarm / Emergency Response

Trailer security, yard fence security, yard breach, alarms, CCTV sweeps, emergency calls, police/fire/EMS, workplace violence.

Day 5

Observed Performance & Sign-Off

Scenario drills, post walkthrough, knowledge check, trainer observations, final coaching, sign-off readiness.
